We were delighted to welcome Nello Ciotti back to the Coutanchez kitchens - this time to judge a cooking competition between our Level 3 Professional Cookery apprentices. The apprentices were given two hours to cook the same three-course meal from Nello's recipe book.
Nello was joined by his wife Della and Da Nello Restaurant's head chef and co-owner Tim, to make what they said was a difficult decision on the winning chef. Congratulations to Grace Bennalick - currently working at Otto's - who was named the overall winner.
All of our apprentices received a copy of the recipe book and Grace was presented with a prize cheque. Well done to everyone for taking part!
