Students from across college were recognised for their progression and achievements during the year. An inspiring key note speech was given by TGI Executive Principal Jacki Hughes who shared stories from her own career journey.
Sovereign Shield
Each year, Sovereign Guernsey kindly donate a prize and award to the student who demonstrates a commitment to family, friends or community in addition to their studies. This year the award was presented to Stephanie Gill, a Health & Social Care student. Her nomination said:
“Steph consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of care and compassion towards those around her. Within college, she is often one of the first students to support peers who may be struggling socially or finding it difficult to make friends. She quietly and naturally helps others feel included, ensuring that no one feels isolated or left out. Outside of college, Steph is a source of support for her family and regularly places the needs of others before her own. Her kindness, empathy and willingness to help others are evident in everything she does.”
