TGI University Centre partners with UK Higher Education Institutions enabling students to study undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in person here at TGI University Centre.
We are approved by Middlesex University and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to deliver a full time , 3 year Bachelor of Science degree in Adult Nursing that leads to professional registration with the NMC. Alongside this we offer a Nursing Associate Foundation degree, this is a 2 year full time programme for people already working in a health /social care area that also leads to professional registration with the NMC.
Our postgraduate provision enable people with an existing degree to undertake post graduate certificates, diplomas or a Masters degree, with a focus on either leadership, education or clinical practice related to their workplace. These programmes of study can also be studied as stand-alone modules for academic continuing professional development.
Our Middlesex University partnership is wider than health and social care, leadership and management, it also awards our students who are studying their post graduate teaching certificate. On successful completion of this award students are able to work as a newly qualified teachers in either primary or secondary schools. In addition to our teaching qualifications portfolio we partner with Portsmouth University with undergraduate and post graduate certificates and degrees that qualify people to teach further education and skills to students who 14+
TGI University Centre is a member of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and it’s teaching team have nationally recognised teaching qualifications with individual fellowships accredited by Advance HE.
Institute of Directors (IoD)
We are the sole provider of the IoD qualifications in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and we work with the IoD to schedule the programmes, for which they provide the tutors to deliver the programmes on island. The IoD accredits the IoD Company Direction Programme (IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction).
Leeds Beckett University
We partner Leeds Beckett University in the delivery of the MSc Corporate Governance/Graduate CGI and the MSc Corporate Governance/Graduate CGI Fast-Track Programme. The GTA is responsible for the promotion of, and recruitment to, the programmes and also for the ongoing communication and pastoral care of the students. Leeds Beckett University is responsible for the content, online delivery, assessment and accreditation of the programmes.
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
We are responsible for the scheduling, promotion and recruitment to all CMI certificated courses, and work with TGI College to deliver the teaching face-to-face at the GTA.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
We are responsible for the scheduling, promotion and recruitment to all CIPD certificated courses, and work with TGI College or an alternative provider to deliver the teaching either face-to-face at the GTA or online.
International Compliance Association (ICA)
We are the sole procurer and facilitator of ICA training and qualifications in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The programmes are delivered directly by the ICA either through virtual live sessions or self-study online.
Guernsey International Insurance Association (GIIA)
We developed the Certificate in International Insurance Management and the Diploma in International Insurance Management in conjunction with GIIA and the Sagacious Group and we are the sole procurer and facilitator of these programmes worldwide.
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
We are the sole procurer and facilitator of STEP training and qualifications in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The programmes are delivered by CLT International, STEP’s exclusive training provider, either through virtual live sessions or self-study online.
Association of Project Managers (APM)
We promote and recruit to the APM qualifications and delivery is through an accredited APM trainer either face-to-face, virtual live or online self-study according to the learner’s needs.
British Computer Society (BCS)
We promote and recruit to the BCS qualifications and delivery is through an accredited BCS trainer either virtual live or online self-study according to the learner’s needs.
