TGI Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a great alternative to post-16 full-time education. You can get into the work place straight away, earn a salary and gain a nationally recognised technical, professional or vocational qualification in a job you love.
Why consider an apprenticeship?

There are lots of great reasons for school leavers to think about apprenticeship, in addition to getting straight into employment.

  • Your confidence will soar as you complete your course with transferable skills, knowledge and experience relevant to your chosen industry sector,
  • You’ll be debt free with further possibilities to continue your training and progress your career
  • Apprenticeships vary in length depending on the sector and can take between 18 months and five years to complete.
  • Off-the-job training usually takes place at TGI College one day a week.

New courses continue to be added as we respond to the changing needs of our islands’ industries.
