The module will include the social, economic, environmental, cultural and political conditions that individuals and their communities have identified as essential components for them to learn, flourish and maximize their fullest potential and wellbeing. Community could be defined by geographical location, race, ethnicity, age, occupation or shared interest or affinity (NICE 2016). Students will identify a specific community within their area of practice to study. This will be agreed with the module lead at the start of the module.
