Dr Tracey McClean leads the TGI University Centre, bringing a wealth of experience from her long-standing career in health and education. Beginning her career as a nursing auxiliary in 1984, she trained as a Registered Nurse at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London before returning to Guernsey in 1989. Since moving into education in 1996, she has held key leadership roles across pre-registration and post-qualifying programmes.
Tracey holds a PGCE and a Professional Doctorate in Health, with a strong interest in research and evidence-based practice. She has played a central role in developing academic programmes at TGI University Centre and contributes to the wider sector as a reviewer for Nurse Education Today and through external examiner roles.
