Full-time Course Applications

How to apply for your course at TGI College
School Visits

The process for applying for a full-time place at TGI College in 2027 begins in October 2026 when we visit schools for joint talks with the Sixth Form Centre, to which students and parents are invited. After the formal talks, there is time to chat with Heads of Department about the courses on offer. Details of these visits are:

Thursday 8 October - St Anne's School Thursday 15 October - Les Varendes* Thursday 20 October - Les Beaucamps* Thursday 22 October - St Sampson's High School* Thursday 5 November - Les Voies School and Le Murier

*Students from the private colleges or who are home-schooled are invited to attend any of these events.

Open Events

Held at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts, between 4.00 and 7.00pm on Thursday 19 November, these events give students, parents and carers the opportunity to chat to programme teams about the courses on offer, find out what is involved in these and have a go at relevant taster activities. These events are also open to students interested in one of our apprenticeship programmes.

Taster Morning

Year 11 students come into TGI College with their school on Tuesday 26 January 2027 (Les Varendes an St Anne’s School) and Wednesday 27 January 2027 (Les Beaucamps, St Sampson's, Les Voies, Le Murier, and students from the private colleges) for a taster morning which runs between 9.00 am and 12.15pm. Students are welcomed by one of our directors and given a short tour of the campus before spending the morning in the vocational area of their choice. The morning should give them a flavour for the course in which they are interested and what is involved in TGI College life to help them make their post-16 choices. Students from St Anne’s School spend the whole day with us. Please see below for the location of your course of choice.

Students from the private colleges or who are home-schooled are very welcome to join us – please contact college@tgi.ac.gg

Optional Drop-in for Year 11 students

On Wednesday 23 June 2027, we have an optional transition drop-in session for Year 11 students who have been offered a place with us in September. These will be held at the campus where the course is based (see above) between 4.00 and 5.30pm - there is no need to book - and will provide the opportunity for students who have alread engaged with Open Evenings, Guidance meetings and Taster Days to visit TGI College if they have any questions and to have a chat with the team. If they are undecided on whether they would like to accept their offer, or they did not apply for a course, but are interested in looking into this possibility, they can still come along and talk about their options.

Online Applications and Place Offers

The online application window opens on Monday 15 February 2027 and closes on Friday 5 March 2027.

Offers will be sent out via email on Wednesday 14 April 2027 and the deadline for accepting the place is Friday 30 April 2027.

If you do not achieve the results you need for your course, you can speak to a member of TGI College staff at your school during the morning when you collect your GCSE results. In addition, you should attend one of our Information, Advice & Guidance days between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Friday 20 August 2027 and Monday 23 August 2027.
