An exciting eight-week journey into Guernsey’s rich archaeological heritage, designed for those who want to explore the island’s fascinating past.
Led by an experienced archaeologist, you’ll uncover the secrets of Guernsey’s prehistoric settlements, Roman connections, medieval sites, military fortifications and maritime history.
Through engaging lectures, hands-on activities, and discussions, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the island’s past, and the techniques used by archaeologists to study it. No prior experience is necessary—just a curiosity about history and heritage!
Course Details
The course will take place each Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
Students are expected to attend for the full session to ensure they benefit from all planned learning activities.
