Our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering is designed for those serious about a successful and rewarding career in the engineering industry.
Course Details
You will develop your knowledge of principles, practices, and theory essential to the engineering industry, alongside workplace health and safety, working practices, communications, and industry standards. You will study a total of 15 units and work both independently and as part of a team to build responsibility for your own learning.
Course Entry
- Five GCSEs at grades C/4 or above, including maths at grade 5 or above and English language
- OR a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit or above
- OR relevant experience for mature students
Course Content
The programme covers a wide range of subjects, from computer-aided drafting to manufacturing (mechanical, electrical, and electronic). Work experience in the engineering sector is also included.
