Lisa qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2009 having completed her BSc (Hons) at the University of Southampton. She worked in a number of areas, both mental health and physical health in UK and Guernsey before joining TGI University Centre in 2018.

Lisa teaches and leads modules across a range of subjects across BSc Adult Nursing, FdSc Nursing Associate, and she is a National Vocational Qualification Assessor and Internal Verifier. Lisa is Placement Facilitator for BSc Adult Nursing and is responsible for the educational audits of the practice placement areas.

Lisa is a member of The Inclusivity Team and is passionate about providing students with mental health, physical and sensory disabilities, and neurodivergent students support to engage in their student role and reach their potential. Lisa has completed a Masters in Professional Practice and undertook research into the lived experience of Neurodivergent student Nurses in 2023.
