Exciting Brand Integration

The Guernsey Institute (TGI) is excited to announce the upcoming integration of the Guernsey College of Further Education and The Institute of Health and Social Studies into our unified brand.

The GTA University Centre will continue as a private entity while remaining proudly part of TGI. This next step, set to take place on the 31st July, represents a significant advancement in our mission to enhance post-16 education in Guernsey, providing more comprehensive educational opportunities.

This integrated brand will streamline the way that students and the community interact with TGI, creating a cohesive, forward-thinking educational environment that better serves the needs of Guernsey.

What This Means:

+ Unified Identity: TGI will be the sole brand, with sub-brands (TGI College, TGI Apprenticeships, TGI Business School, TGI University Centre) categorising our diverse course offerings so students know where to look for different kinds of learning.
+ Enhanced Collaboration: Streamlined operations will facilitate better communication and collaboration across all departments.
+ Broader Opportunities: Students will benefit from a wider range of courses and qualifications, tailored to meet their educational and career aspirations.
+ Community Engagement: Stronger alignment with local industry needs and increased community involvement will drive sustainable growth for Guernsey.

Brand integration will include:

+ Refreshed marketing materials using the TGI branding.
+ Unified marketing presence through TGI across all channels
+ Updated channels reflecting the new branding – you will see current social media pages merge into TGI, for example.

🎓 Our University Centre
Our University Centre, currently also known as the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies until 31 July, offers training courses for nurses and other health professionals, and a growing range of masters-level courses which include opportunities outside of health, such as teacher training.

🌟 Our College
Welcoming thousands of students every year, our College, currently also known as Guernsey College of Further Education until 31 July, offers more than 300 different course opportunities; from part-time evening classes to full-time studies.

💡 Our Business School
Helping local professionals and businesses reach and exceed their full potential, building a brighter future for themselves and our islands. Our Business School encompasses the GTA University Centre, and offers a broad spectrum of professional development and business skill opportunities, meeting the needs of the local sector.
